This property located in the zone of the periurban orchard of the municipal term of Santa Maria, takes the name of Gregori Salvà Fullana who formed it during the last decade of the XIX century after the acquisition and grouping of three properties (Ca’n Taule, Ca’n Veyasco i Ca’s Jay Jordi) and a small house in that place. It was and is an environment of great ethnological value, consisting of a water mine, a large pool and a waterwheel animal traction, the land was devoted to horticultural exploitation. For this reason, from that moment on, the property was known as l’Hort de Can Salvà, which it still preserves today. Decades later his heirs enlarged the house they had inherited and built a windmill to extract water.
